Earth, from Seattle, and more specifically Dylan Carlson is responsible for the offshoot of doom metal called Drone Doom. Earth lay down minimalistic music coupled with guitar feedback, eBow excursions and noise to create a musical atmosphere that creates such dynamic aural experiences capable of pulsing your very core. This song comes from the latest incarnation of Earth, which brings out a country/western influence into the mix creating a sparse musical landscape that almost brings the listener into the harsh climate of the desert.
